Confederation Standard Army

 

The army of the Confederation is the direct descendant of that of the Earth Union in terms of organisation and chain of command.

However, most of the equipment, as well as the colour of the uniforms, has been borrowed from the Free Concordat.

The soldiers wear armor made of nano-carbon fiber and Chrometium, a recently invented alloy from Drozular known for its good ablative properties. The helmet includes advanced communication systems and a Televium crystal screen—a rare mineral found on worlds orbiting Quasars and the same material used as fuel in singularity engines. This screen displays targeting aids, as well as information about the soldier's health status and battlefield conditions.

Their standard-issue weapon is a Knight's Fall Mk III from Skycorp. This is a low-impact laser rifle, meaning it has low penetration but a high rate of fire with minimal power loss over distance.
