The huge 'Ares' space shipyard as seen from space.

The station has been used for the construction and repair of spaceships since the 2nd century of the Cosmic Era, when it was launched by the Earth Union as the main construction site for spaceships.



During the 1st Rift War, Ares became even more important, partly due to the injection of Drozanian technology that increased production and the quality of work.



During the Tnarxian Wars, Ares was heavily damaged in the Battle of Mars. The intervention of a regiment of Manimals, namely Gorillas (see), prevented the station from being conquered.



Rebuilt during the period of the Earth-Moon Federation, in the later Allied Star Confederation, it again became one of the focal points of the military industry of the "Syrian Bubble", incorporating numerous Tnarxian and Rahai additions.

Forewords

  Forewords This setting was born from my love of space opera. Unlike other settings, this universe is playable with the Cepheus system, the rules for which can be found online (Cepheus SRD). In the next few days, I'll publish a general introduction and then begin with the setting's elements. For simplicity's sake, I'll group them by star state. This setting has a troubled origin. Initially conceived as a sci-fi fantasy, then transformed into an apocalyptic sci-fi, I redesigned it as a space opera, reminiscent of my sci-fi mythos. The Foundation, the Universe of the Alliance and the Confederation and Traveller RPG. You'll find that some elements are direct references to my favorite sci-fi worlds, but overall I tried to be as original as possible. The maps and flags are drawn by me.   General Index: Science and Technology General entry: Travel technologies Local heading: Singularity Engine The Singularity Engine is one of the greatest innovations of this era and although today it is used in almost all space states, it was initially only developed by the Earth Union and the League of Free States on Boros. On Terra it was developed as a result of the need to move small fleets more quickly in the war against the Draedar. The Jump Drive required a great deal of energy, very precise calculations and took time to travel between two points, time that depended on both the distance and the mass of the two bodies. The Singularity Engine requires the same large amounts of energy and very complex calculations. Problems to which terrestrial and Borosian engineers (the former from Kyoto University, the latter from Vorthak University on Boros) were able to solve using the extremely powerful Drozanian quantum computers (or Busharak, in the case of the Kolangon on Boros) and s...

Drozan Confederate Officers

  The Drozans are native to the planet Druzular around the star Dagzal which humans call Sirius. Drozular is a planet with unique environmental conditions, with high levels of radiation due to Sirius's irradiation. Local life forms have had to adapt by building a carbon shield highly resistant to ionization and radiation. There are three major Drozan phenotypes, but in reality the coloration of their epidermis (essentially a layer of glass) can not only vary greatly, but also has no real ethnic significance and depends on external and internal conditions at the time of birth. Although sometimes mistaken for silicon creatures, Drozans are not mammals, they are essentially crystal life forms, but have two sexes with fairly pronounced sexual dysmorphism (though not quite like humans or Draedar).
